Update from the National OD Network 2018 Conference
The 2018 OD Network Annual Conference held in mid-October was centered on the theme OD Emergence: Create the Possibility. The theme focused on a world that never stops changing with more to come due to technology, globalization, and cultural shifts. During the conference, great thinking, exciting discussions, and tools were provided to support OD professionals with their primary responsibility – helping organizations and people work effectively together.
Sheryl Unger, our Programming Chair, co-presented on "Strategic Change Implementation: An Approach to Steady the Ship During Rough Waters". In addition to presenting, Sheryl acted as Reporter-On-The Scene to bring back to our local SFLODN chapter the best thinking in OD.
Join your peers for an interactive session to explore key take-aways from the conference on topics related to where the OD profession is going, what we can do to support our organizations, and how we can continue to learn and grow as individuals.
As a chapter, this will be a pivotal meeting in shaping our direction and “creating our possibility”. Your insight and perspective is welcomed.
At the end of the meeting participants will have:
- Gained access to practical strategies, tools and creative ideas based on the Global OD Practice Framework™
- Learned key take-aways from world-renowned experts in organization development, change management, team-building, and engagement
- Heard about key resources from the exhibitors and the latest solutions
