February Meeting: Gaining Leadership Buy-In to Build Business Partnerships

How to Add Value, Green Light Your Projects and Close that Deal!

By: Susan Gervasi, MS ODCC, OD Consultant and Learning and Development Expert

Company leaders and business executives are busy, focused individuals. You need to get them to sponsor your OD project, but how do you reach them, gain their support and sustain their sponsorship? After all, you have a small window of time and access to do this! Whether you're an internal or external OD consultant, this step is a deal maker or deal breaker.

This month we explore knowing your client, knowing your organization and importantly, knowing yourself, as a model to help you influence leaders and turn them into partners, overcome challenges and move that project forward. Dust off those skills and have fun practicing with great tools like active listening, the decision style model and the path to agreement, to give you the competencies needed to close that deal!

We look forward to seeing you as we continue to kick off this year with a bang in presenting useful and timely information!
