Building Aspirational Organizations Using Appreciative Inquiry Techniques

Presented by Patti Dammann

Welcome to SFLODN’s fall season’s continuation of programs into discovery and thought! We are excited to present this month’s topic: “Building Aspirational Organizations Using Appreciative Inquiry Techniques” for you and your colleagues! Together, we will delve into the sometimes misunderstood aspects of Appreciative Inquiry and be updated on using this intervention tool.

Recognized expert, Patti Dammann will guide us into how Appreciative Inquiry can be applied to the issues and challenges facing today’s organizations.

The questions we ask, determine what we find

Appreciative Inquiry allows us to engage an organization’s key members so they can create innovative solutions to real world opportunities. Through this technique you discover root causes of success rather than failure, as you realize that what you focus on – grows!

Topics include

  • Appreciate Inquiry and its basic components
  • Applying the 4D Appreciative Inquiry Model
  • Engaging individuals and groups so they can work more effectively
  • Selecting the appropriate Appreciative Inquiry tools
  • Applying Appreciative Inquiry concepts to real world issues

Program Outcomes

From the presentation, you should understand how to apply Appreciative Inquiry into your everyday work life. You will also practice applying this tool to bring about ideas and ultimately change, during organizational events. It’s the questions we ask that determine what we find!

Join us and learn how you can point the way for your organizations!
