January 2015 Record Turnout for Exita

SFLODN started off the New Year strong with a program highlighting The Leader Coach. The presentation engaged a record turnout of attendees on what is an effective coaching style leaders can use to drive results with their people. Speakers Antonella Capezzi and Federico Vecchiarelli of Exita, LLC, presented ways to coach employees with diverse backgrounds and cultures as we discussed the principles behind the Leader Coach. With 5 generations now working, Leaders must add skills to include effective ways to coach employees both informally, during teachable moments, and formally, as part of employee’s general development plan. From this body of work, practicing Leader Coaches have an organizing framework and best practices with which to work. If you missed the program or the follow up email providing resources on this topic, contact a Board member or click here to obtain more information.

The Leader Coach - An effective style that drives results

with Antonella Capizzi and Federico Vecchiarelli, consultants with EXITA LLC

Join us to kick off the New Year kick with a program that will exceed your expectations for learning and fun, as we explore a leadership best practice. In this program we will learn why leaders must go from ‘leading by example’ to taking a more active role of leading by coaching.

We learn by doing and this evening promises a lot of ‘doing’ with creative role plays and practicing leader coaching – all information you can use directly in your practice or organization!

The interactive discussion will lead us into new territory for developing leaders. You will take home new ideas, a coaching tool and resources to apply in your practice or organization and start off your new year strong!

Our speakers are skilled coaches with in depth, international experiences working in multiple cultures. They have delved into leadership coaching for a reason:

  • Beginning with 2015 there will be 5 generations represented in the labor pool!
  • Leaders are going to be more challenged on several fronts and will need to build skills that assist a wide range of workers in order to become successful in a social era business environment.

Learning about the new era of "the Leader Coach" is a great opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to your knowledge base and adds a new best practice to your collection of interventions.
